The MASH platform, in one vendor.

Accurate and precise non-invasive imaging biomarkers for characterising and monitoring treatment response, integrated with PAIR-MASH™, Perspectum’s AI suite for MASH histology. LiverMultiScan plus PAIR-MASH delivers MRI, AI pathology, and central reading through a single vendor; the integrated platform pharma sponsors have been asking for.

LiverMultiScan: the imaging spine of the MASH platform.

cT1 and MRI-PDFF correlate with histological measures of fibrosis, inflammation and steatosis. cT1 reliably predicts liver and cardiac clinical outcomes, with an 80 ms change recognised as clinically significant. The same biomarker stack that runs in Phase 2/3 MASH programmes today. On the FDA pathway for Reasonably Likely Surrogate Endpoint (RLSE) qualification in MASH, with full approval anticipated from 2029.

cT1

Iron-corrected T1, Perspectum’s quantitative MRI biomarker for liver tissue characterisation. Field-strength and manufacturer agnostic. Enables large-scale multi-site trials.

PDFF

Proton density fat fraction, the radiology reference standard for non-invasive liver fat quantification. Reproducibility and repeatability validated across vendors.

80 ms

Clinically significant change in cT1. The threshold endpoint conversations and treatment-response monitoring are built around.

Enhanced patient screening.

Reduce screen-fail rates, improve patient experience, and lower trial costs by pre-screening with best-in-class imaging biomarkers before the initial biopsy. The histological features that contribute to steatohepatitis, liver fat, fibrosis, inflammation, can be characterised non-invasively with cT1 and MRI-PDFF.

Standardised, reproducible, multi-site.

cT1 and MRI-PDFF have excellent reproducibility and repeatability with superior diagnostic accuracy. Reliable monitoring of disease progression and treatment response, with confidence across the multi-site footprint Phase 3 trials demand.

PAIR-MASH · Live

PAIR-MASH™. AI pathology, MASH-first.

Perspectum’s proprietary AI suite for MASH clinical trials. Quantitative, reproducible assessment of the histological features regulators and sponsors care about: ballooning, fibrosis, steatosis, and lobular, portal, and interface inflammation. Delivered through an integrated central reading workflow that combines expert pathology, quantitative MRI, and AI-enabled reading in a single vendor relationship.

Quantifiable treatment response.

AI-generated metrics provide a robust and reproducible method to quantify disease features. Finer degrees of treatment response captured through continuous AI metrics, replacing the categorical noise of conventional histology scoring.

% Steatosis

Continuous AI measurement of steatotic burden, calibrated against pathologist scoring.

% Inflammatory burden

Foci per mm². Quantitative inflammation measurement beyond categorical NAS subscores.

Ballooned hepatocytes

Total count and density per mm². The endpoint regulators have repeatedly flagged as the noisiest under conventional scoring.

% Collagen Proportionate Area (CPA)

Quantitative fibrosis assessment. Continuous measurement that maps cleanly to longitudinal treatment-response analysis.

What pathologists say.

Customer feedback from Phase 3 MASH study pathologists and the NASH CRN.

“The workflow is the most intuitive and user-friendly system I’ve worked with.”
Study pathologist · Phase 3 NASH study
“A lot of companies try to change the way I report to fit their workflow. You’ve built a system that fits the way I already report.”
NASH CRN pathologist
“We’re happy with the service and the pathologists love the reporting system.”

EGD central reading.

Endoscopy central reading service supporting both still images and HD video. eCRF-style reporting templates, AI-enhanced quality checks, customisable consensus and adjudication workflows. HD recording equipment provided to sites where standardisation across large multi-centre studies demands it.

Saturday 30 May · 12:45–13:45 CET · Poster Area, Hall 7

AI-supported pathology (PAIR-MASH)

Automated assessment showing improved alignment with pathologist grading and better discrimination of disease activity, reducing variability in trial readouts.

Friday 29 May · 12:45–13:45 CET · Poster Area, Hall 7

Quantitative MRCP in transplant recipients

MRCP-derived elevations observed in biliary-complication patients suggesting potential for earlier, non-invasive detection in a setting currently reactive and procedure-driven.
